Job Summary
The Facilities Associate supports daily facilities operations, working hand in hand with engineers and reporting directly to the Hiring Manager. This role focuses on facilities helpdesk functions, coordination of meetings and tickets, and providing support in the mailroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily mailroom operations including sorting, distributing, and handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist in planning and coordinating client meetings, events, and on-site activities to ensure a smooth experience
- Manage and update the CMMS system by creating, tracking, and closing work orders and service requests
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to follow up on ticket status and ensure timely completion
- Provide on-site support during events including room setup, coordination, and issue resolution
- Oversee and assist in mailroom operations as needed
- Manage multiple tickets simultaneously
Required Skills
- CMMS background or experience working in CMMS
- Ability to manage and coordinate facilities tasks and work orders
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Preferred Skills
- Some mailroom experience
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Some college coursework preferred
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Mailroom operations experience
