Business Development Manager (Sales Hunter – Global Expansion)
Location: San Mateo, CA
Salary: $100,000–$110,000 annually

—someone who thrives on prospecting, opening new relationships, and engaging senior executives. You’ll play a critical role in helping U.S.
-based companies expand into Singapore and the broader Asia‑Pacific region while positioning Singapore as a leading global business hub.
Based in our San Mateo office, you’ll focus on net‑new business development
, proactive outreach, and executive engagement, working closely with regional leadership and global teams in Singapore.
- Proactively hunt and generate new investment leads from U.S. companies considering international expansion
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting (calls, emails, Linked In outreach) to engage C-suite and senior decision-makers
- Own the full top-of-funnel process—from cold outreach to qualified investment opportunities
- Identify, assess, and qualify prospects using research, discovery conversations, and market insights
- Build trusted relationships with executives, founders, and corporate strategy leaders
- Leverage marketing-generated leads while maintaining a strong self-sourced pipeline
- Collaborate with Singapore-based teams to advance opportunities and align market strategies
- Represent the organization at meetings, events, and executive briefings
- 5+ years of hunter-style sales or business development experience
- Proven success in outbound prospecting and opening net-new business
- Experience selling professional services, consulting, SaaS, or complex B2B solutions
- Exposure to international expansion, global markets, or cross-border business is a strong plus
- Strong interest in the Asian or Asia-Pacific business landscape
- Experience working with globally focused or international organizations
- Background in B2B, institutional, economic development, or consultative sales environments
- Confident executive communicator with strong discovery and persuasion skills
- Highly skilled in cold outreach, relationship building, and pipeline development
- Strong research, analytical, and qualifying capabilities
- On-site role based in San Mateo
- Occasional domestic travel for meetings and business development events
