Our client, a world leader in life sciences and biotechnology, is looking for a“Vendor Qualification Associate I – Clinical R&D” based in Foster City, CA (Hybrid).

We are seeking a Vendor Qualification Associate I to support vendor qualification and oversight across Gilead’s global Phase I–IV clinical development portfolio
. Therole will partner with Clinical Operations, Quality & Compliance,Procurement, Legal, Finance, and external vendors to assess vendor capabilities, risks, compliance, and performance.
- Lead/support RFIs vendor capability assessments, due diligence, sourcing,contracting, and procurement activities
. - Conduct Data Privacy & Security, Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, and Financial Health Assessments
. - Support inspection readiness
, vendor compliance, and quality activities. - Analyze vendor data and benchmarking results to provide data-driven insights and continuous improvement recommendations
. - Prepare presentations, reports, training materials, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors across clinical, quality, finance,legal, and procurement functions.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
- BS/BAdegree with relevant experience.
- 5years of relevant pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience preferred.
- Project management experience in Pharma, Biotech, or Healthcare
; PMPcertification preferred. - Strong knowledge of GCP, GVP, GLP, GDP, and ICH E6 requirements.
- Experience with vendor management/qualification, procurement, sourcing,contracting, or category management
. - Strong project management, analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and external vendors
.
Experience working with vendors supporting clinical monitoring, data management, central/biomarker/bioanalytical labs, RWD/RWE, biostatistics, medical writing, safety, RTSM, eCOA, medical imaging, eConsent, telemedicine,or wearables
