The Producer Innovation Studio Internship is a part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program located in San Mateo, CA. As an intern on Roblox Innovation Studio team, you will work alongside a cross-functional group, including strategy, production, creative, product, design and engineers to scale high-impact IP integrations, such as concerts and entertainment activations, across our creator community.

You will act as a primarily community-focused producer and project manager, serving as the bridge between intellectual property (IP), culture, and our developer base. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who is comfortable navigating the intersection of Dev Rel, product, and content to create net-new programs and systems.

You Will:

• Drive Community Engagement:
  Help cultivate and navigate developer and player communities, utilizing platforms like Discord to manage relationships and gather feedback.
• Manage Content & Strategy:
  Build and maintain a content calendar for community-focused initiatives and identify great content for collaboration in and with our O&O innovation space, The Block .
• Support Developer Success:
  Work directly with developers to ensure they have the resources they need for successful IP integrations, reporting back on what is working well and identifying areas for improvement.
• Scale Integrations:
  Assist in creating scalable programs and asset packs (built in Lua) that allow developers to participate in major activations, turning one-off events into platform-wide opportunities.
• Translate Culture to Content:
  Leverage your understanding of artist lore and fan culture (Gen Z/Gen Alpha) to translate integration opportunities into compelling ideas for developers.

You Have:

• Producer Mindset:
  Core producer/project manager tendencies with the ability to operate across multiple functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Entrepreneurial Initiative:
  The drive to help create new systems from scratch rather than just plugging into existing ones.
• Cultural Fluency: A deep understanding of Gen Z and Gen Alpha trends, lore, and community dynamics.
• Communication

  The ability to work with various stakeholders, from technical developers to executive leadership.
• Platform Familiarity:
  Some familiarity with Roblox is preferred; while technical skills are not required, an interest in learning the pieces of game production is a plus.

Hourly Pay Range

$35 — $35 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
