Position: 2026-2027 School Year - Middle School Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Teacher - Various Sites

San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for a Middle School Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) teacher. There are a variety of credential options available for this position, including:
Multiple Subject credential (with substantiated experience and skills in the identified VAPA areas or supplemental authorization to teach related VAPA classes and English Learner Authorization);
Single Subject Visual Art credential;
Single Subject Music credential;
Single Subject Industrial and Technology Education credential;
Single Subject Dance credential;
Single Subject Theater credential;
Single Subject Media Arts, along with authorization to teach English learners. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Music Teacher to join our school communities. The ideal candidate will bring expertise and enthusiasm for cultural and world music, with a strong emphasis in this area, including but not limited to Mariachi, Bollywood, Japanese drumming (Taiko), and Chinese music traditions, or will have experience in digital and/or media arts.
