San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for Para-Educators I Extended Day (teachers assistants) to work in our after-school program. Roving/various sites (4.5 hrs/day) 4 positions 4.5 hrs/day M, T, TH, F: 2 to 6pm, W: 11:30am to 6pm Roving/various sites (6.5 hrs/day) 4 positions 6.5 hrs/day M, T, W, TH, F 11:30am –6:00pm Roving/various sites (8 hrs/day) 2 positions 8 hrs/day M, T, W, TH, F 7am-8:30am & 11:30am-6pm Definition:
Under general supervision, to assist teacher in planning, supervision, curriculum development and classroom arrangement, organization and maintenance; to provide instructional support and learning enrichment, using developmentally appropriate practices and materials; to monitor child safety, perform housekeeping functions, and assist in the physical care and feeding of children; and to perform related work as required.
