Temporary 3rd-5th grade Mandarin Teacher

The Carey School, a Preschool to 5th grade independent school in San Mateo, California seeks an experienced educator for a Temporary 3rd-5th grade Mandarin teacher position in a hands-on, active learning environment. As a member of the world language team, and a member of the faculty, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience collaborating with colleagues, designing inquiry-based curriculum and integrating content across class and content areas.

In addition to a command of the Mandarin language and curriculum and curriculum at 3rd-5th grade levels, candidates must have a strong understanding of children’s developmental level and practice utilizing differentiated instruction strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
