Director – Early Childhood Education
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to lead our early childhood education center. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting teachers, ensuring licensing compliance, and building strong relationships with families. The Director plays a key role in maintaining a safe, high-quality, and nurturing learning environment aligned with the mission of Meaningful Beginnings.
Key responsibilities include overseeing daily center operations and ensuring smooth running of the school, ensuring compliance with Title 22 licensing and safety regulations, leading, supporting, and developing teachers and staff, conducting classroom observations to maintain program quality and safety, managing staffing, scheduling, and enrollment, building strong, positive relationships with families, handling parent communication and escalated concerns professionally, overseeing documentation, inspections, and required reporting, and supporting facility, supply, and administrative needs.
Qualifications include 3–5+ years of leadership experience in Early Childhood Education, strong knowledge of Title 22 licensing requirements, experience in staff supervision and program management, strong communication, organization, and leadership skills, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and AA or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
