Instructional Aide - San Mateo, CA

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar student support role preferred
• Ability to build rapport with students and staff from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in education or child development a plus
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for contributing to student growth
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively under teacher supervision

• Provide classroom support to teachers by assisting with instructional activities and individualized student attention
• Help manage classroom behavior and promote a respectful, inclusive learning atmosphere
• Support students with assignments, daily activities, and basic personal care, as needed
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement learning modifications and accommodations
• Supervise students during non-classroom times such as recess, lunch, and assemblies
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and school matters
• Assist with record-keeping and preparation of instructional materials

Compensation for this position ranges from $21.00 to $36.00.
