Network Security Engineer
Industry: Technology
Location: Foster City, CA
Duration: ~6 months
Responsibilities- Support implementation, maintenance and upkeep of network security systems.
- Manage firewalls, URL filtering, IDS/IPS, and network access control.
- Collaborate with Information Security, IT, Product, and Operations teams.
- Contribute to architecture, design, and implementation of security programs.
- Ensure customer experience is prioritized in security measures.
- 6+ years of experience in Network Security Engineer roles.
- 6+ years of experience in IT systems/application engineering/administration.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS network security services.
- Practical knowledge of PKI, cryptography, and certificates.
- Strong understanding of OSI model and Layer‑7 protection techniques.
Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by Work Genius.
