As a member of our Business Systems Engineering team, you will build or improve tools that are used daily by Verkada resellers, external integration platforms, and internal teams across the company. Our goal is to find bottlenecks and friction points, drive process improvements, and come up with technical solutions. Our team is the custodian of data that is used by finance, orders, supply chain, and people teams.

• Design and implement simple and efficient UI/UX that allow Verkada partners to interact with Verkada
• Work with PMs to simplify and enhance the overall Verkada transaction process
• Develop customer empathy to propose improvements to systems
• Lead projects from ideation to release
• Help and mentor junior engineers

• 4+ years of software engineering with a focus on Front End development
• Shipped customer‑facing products or internal tools in the past
• Flexible and adaptive in a fast‑paced startup environment
• Passion for end‑customer experience
• In‑depth expertise in modern Front End frameworks or e‑Commerce Web Platforms
• Bonus:
  Experience with Salesforce, Net Suite, or HRIS platforms

With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location, skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.

A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs).

Annual on‑target earnings (OTE) range for full‑time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable): $180,000 – $280,000 USD.
