Automotive System Integration Engineer

Our client, a leader in automotive innovation and vehicle systems, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Vehicle System Integration engineering team supporting the development of cutting-edge autonomous vehicle technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a passion for advancing automotive systems, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Lead Body Systems and controls for an autonomous robotaxi.

+ Design system technical specifications and architecture.

+ Develop system design and integration test plans to ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency for various vehicle systems such as Lighting, Closures, and Clusters.

+ Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration.

+ Create System FMEAs, diagnostics, and fault reactions to guarantee safe operation and lead issue triage activities.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

+ At least 10 years of experience in system engineering, preferably within automotive or electric vehicle systems.

+ Strong understanding of vehicle system architectures, including Closures, lighting, and instrument clusters.

+ Familiarity with power management, network architecture, and power electronics in EV platforms.

+ Proficiency with tools like IBM DOORS, Siemens Polarion, or similar for developing electrical and system requirements.
