We are seeking a detail‑oriented Fund Accountant who will be responsible for supporting the fund operations and fund accounting team by performing basic administrative and data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will have some experience working in private equity, venture capital, or hedge funds. This position is execution‑focused and operates under clear instructions and supervision.
Key Responsibilities Fund Operations- Assist with processing capital call and distribution wires
- Track wire confirmations and maintain records
- Monitor shared email inboxes related to investee companies for administrative and record‑keeping purposes
- Perform data entry into accounting and reporting systems
- Update schedules and spreadsheets using provided information
- Assist with basic reconciliations under supervision
- Upload and organize supporting documents
- Perform routine operational tasks as assigned
- Maintain organized files and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or similar major
- 1‑2 years of experience in fund accounting, fund operations, or related fund administrative roles
- Some experience at a private equity, venture capital, hedge fund, fund administrator, or public accounting firm (preferably auditing alternative investment funds or financial services firm) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Excel
- CPA is preferred, not required
- Competitive salary with performance‑based bonus structure.
