Overview of the Role

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins by obtaining the required Securities Industry licenses. You will receive dedicated and personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 Exams. Upon licensing you will receive the foundational skills to acquire, build, and manage client relationships, consider clients’ complex financial pictures, and guide them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives while humanizing interactions.

You will then work in a financial center delivering Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care.

Development Path

After demonstrating success as a licensed FSA I, you will progress into Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you continue to practice and deepen relationships within a portfolio of clients. Success at Stage II opens advance opportunities within Bank of America and Merrill, supported by the Academy’s dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain client relationships, offering comprehensive advice and presenting client reviews with confidence.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to solutions that meet virtually all their financial needs.
  • Apply a defined consultative approach to systematically identify client needs and recommend appropriate strategies.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a results‑driven mindset and prioritizing client interests in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Use new technology and applications to adapt and learn continuously.
Required Qualifications
  • Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses and self‑discipline in managing time and capacity.
  • Experience cultivating client relationships, accessing needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated results‑driven mindset while prioritizing clients’ interests.
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to new technology.
Desired Qualifications
  • Current holder of FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
  • Skills in client experience, branding, solutions advisory, investment management, pipeline management, referral management, portfolio management, prospecting, business acumen, executive presence, oral communications, risk management, and trading.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: 63 & 65 credit, or 66.
Minimum Education Requirement

High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule:

Monday – Fridays with rotating Saturdays. Position is 1st shift, United States of America. Hours per week: 40.

Hourly pay range: $28.85 – $33.65, determined by experience, education, and skill set. This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible.
