Full-Time Engagement Professional (FTEP) - Payroll Specialist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Full-Time Engagement Professional (FTEP) with strong end-to-end payroll experience to support client projects and interim needs. This role is ideal for a payroll professional who has processed high-volume, multi-state payroll and can quickly adapt to new environments while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process high-volume payroll for up to 4,500 employees across multiple pay cycles

+ Manage multi-state payroll with specific experience handling Quick Pay requirements in California, Colorado, and Oregon

+ Administer payroll activities in ADP Workforce Now (WFN), including audits, maintenance, reporting, and issue resolution

+ Review and validate payroll data for accuracy, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefit with holdings

+ Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

+ Support payroll adjustments, off-cycle payments, final pay, and special payroll runs as needed

+ Partner with HR, finance, and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries

+ Process and reconcile employee expense reports using Concur

+ Review submitted expenses for policy compliance, coding accuracy, and proper approvals

+ Assist with month-end reporting, payroll reconciliations, and audit support

+ Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information at all times

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of high-volume payroll experience

+ Proven experience processing payroll for populations of 4,500 employees or more

+ Hands-on experience with Quick Pay in California, Colorado, and Oregon

+ Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now (WFN)

+

Experience with employee expenses and expense reporting in Concur

+ Solid understanding of multi-state payroll laws and payroll tax implications

+ High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through

+ Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

+ Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience supporting multiple client environments or project-based assignments

+ Exposure to payroll audits, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives

+ Advanced Excel skills
