** About the department
** The Franklin Templeton Institutional Liquidity division drives the firm’s leadership in institutional liquidity and short-term investing capabilities and sits within the Global Insurance and Institutional Solutions Group. The team engages with institutional clients globally to deliver Franklin Templeton’s extensive short-term capabilities including U.S. and UCITS institutional liquidity funds, short duration bond funds, ETFs and institutional separate account strategies. Franklin Templeton and its family of investment managers, including Western Asset Management, have a long history of delivering market-leading liquidity and short-term investment solutions to institutional and retail investors around the world.

In addition to Franklin Templeton’s extensive range of traditional liquidity and short-term investment capabilities, the Firm’s market-leading Digital Assets business is a market-leader in tokenized money market funds, stable coins and other innovative on-chain products and strategies. The SVP of Business Development, Liquidity will lead sales strategy and execution for the Institutional Liquidity division in the U.S. western region. This is an opportunity for a dynamic candidate with a proven record of delivering results in the institutional liquidity market.

The candidate will have a strong understanding of the U.S. institutional industry, including experience of working with corporate treasurers and other liquidity investors, and familiarity with key distribution platforms operating in the market including banks, MMF portals, and other intermediaries. The role requires the ability to deliver a comprehensive suite of liquidity, ultra-short and short-duration investment strategies through demonstrating institutional sales leadership.

The successful candidate will primarily focus on growth Franklin Templeton’s traditional short-term investment products but will also require an understanding of the evolving digital market and an enthusiasm for delivering both traditional and digital liquidity solutions to the firm’s clients.#
