For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Product & Technology Finance to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.

Location:

San Mateo, CA — US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $225,000 – $285,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Develop financial strategy for Product & Technology, aligning with overall business objectives
  • Champion integration of financial and operational data into decision-making
  • Lead financial planning cycles and collaborate on operational plans
  • Create and maintain financial models for scenario assessment and risk analysis
  • Evaluate and optimize capital allocation strategies for initiatives and expenditures
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team
  • Provide financial insights to support organizational decision-making
Qualifications
  • 12+ years experience in finance, including 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Background in global SaaS or technology industry, preferably in fast-paced startups
  • Experience supporting Product & Tech and/or R&D organizations
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for operational efficiency
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • MBA preferred
