Finance Business Partner, Trust & Safety (6319

Roblox is looking for a Finance Business Partner, Trust & Safety to join our Finance team, reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A. This role will provide finance support to the Trust and Safety team, collaborating with Safety, Legal, and Infrastructure teams. Responsibilities include short‑term planning management, business partnering, financial modeling, and finance operations, as well as communicating analytical insights and organizing deliverables across multiple teams.

• Support monthly financial cycles, including collaboration with Accounting at month‑end and quarter‑end, consolidation of budgets and reporting packages
• Review important financial metrics with senior leadership
• Lead ad‑hoc discussions around financial trends
• Lead cross‑functional projects with the Safety ops team on cost efficiencies and new product introductions by identifying opportunities/gaps, providing insights and solutions
• Support business decisions across the organization by surfacing spending trends, developing ROI analysis for new strategic initiatives, and reporting financial and operational KPIs
• Develop a long‑range model (5 years) for customer support and moderation teams, and use this model for quarterly and annual financial planning processes
• Collaborate with the safety data science team to develop key operational metrics around ticket backlog, agent utilization, automation, and safety metrics such as recall and abuse reports
• Partner with the Finance Data team to promote process efficiency and automation using analytics tools and data‑management skills
• Manage projects across the FP&A team; work with Infra and other analysts to create deliverables for finance and safety leadership
• Collaborate with other groups on company‑related systems and tools affecting FP&A, Accounting, HR, Legal, and G&A teams

• Bachelor’s degree in economics or a quantitative field (finance/accounting, math, science) or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of experience in a finance‑related or similar business role
• Prior experience in a public company is helpful
• Advanced skills using Excel to maintain complex spreadsheets and analyze data
• Experience creating financial and operational models
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for communicating recommendations
• Experience with SQL, Anaplan, Tableau, or other BI tools

The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay depends on professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. In some circumstances, the salary may fall outside this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full‑time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

$191,120 — $231,940 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
