Accounting Manager, Single Family Office, San Mateo

An ultra-high-net-worth family's single family office in San Mateo, California is hiring an Accounting Manager to work alongside the CFO overseeing outsourced accounting - invoice review, month-end close, quarterly spending forecasts and cash-flow projections, expense-report ownership, credit-card analysis and credit-line management. Requires 7+ years' experience and a bachelor's in accounting or finance.

This role supports an Ultra-High-Net-Worth family's Single Family Office. The team's objectives include philanthropic work focused on mental health and enabling the principals to concentrate on their careers (an author and a public-company CEO).

Key responsibilities:

collaborating with the CFO to oversee outsourced accounting operations, including invoice review, month-end close coordination, quarterly spending forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitoring spending trends; handling funding and bank-account management; owning the expense-report process; maintaining credit-card analysis frameworks; and managing credit lines.

Required qualifications:

7+ years of experience, accounting knowledge, forecasting expertise, and proficiency with Office and Google productivity tools; a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; demonstrated ownership mentality; critical-thinking ability; and strong project-management skills.
