A leading growth-oriented private equity investment platform is seeking a Vice President to join its Investment Team
. The firm partners with and invests in lower-middle-market software and technology companies
, with a particular focus on SaaS businesses and supporting management teams through periods of growth and value creation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an investment professional with 4.5–5+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related financial field, with a strong emphasis on software and SaaS investments
.
The successful candidate will take increased ownership of the deal team process, lead due diligence and transaction execution, and manage and mentor junior team members. The role offers greater accountability across the investment process, with increased responsibility for driving deals forward and supporting investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the deal team process across due diligence and transaction execution
- Take ownership of key work streams throughout the investment process
- Evaluate software and SaaS investment opportunities and support investment decisions
- Conduct and oversee financial analysis, modeling, valuation, and investment analysis
- Coordinate with management teams, advisors, and other external stakeholders throughout due diligence
- Manage, mentor, and train junior investment professionals
- Support deal sourcing, evaluation, and execution across the investment lifecycle
- 4.5–5+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related investment role
- Strong private equity experience
, ideally focused on software and SaaS - Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis skills
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of transaction processes and lead deal teams
- Experience managing or coordinating complex due diligence processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage, mentor, and develop junior team members
