• Performing charge entry, confirming patient registration, and processing claims
• Managing patient aging reports and assisting with patient balance collections
• Handling patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy
• Following up on medical claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Using Practice Management Systems in new and inventive ways

• 3+ years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a high-growth OR fast-paced environment
• Strong working knowledge of medical billing procedures
  , insurance guidelines
  , and claim submission processes
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding systems and policies
• Experience with electronic/clearinghouse billing software and health plan websites
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• A self-starter mindset—able to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain a strong commitment to attendance
