We are seeking a highly motivated and hands on laboratory professional to support the establishment and operationalization of a new primary container development laboratory within a leading biopharmaceutical environment.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building laboratory systems from the ground up, working directly with equipment, and maintaining high standards of scientific rigor and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the setup and launch of a new development laboratory space
  • Assist with equipment installation, qualification, and operational readiness
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot primary container and analytical laboratory equipment
  • Design and execute well planned experiments with strong attention to scientific detail
  • Support method development and laboratory workflow optimization
  • Contribute to studies involving container closure systems, product compatibility, and process characterization
  • Maintain accurate equipment logs, calibration documentation, and inventory tracking
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
  • Partner cross functionally with facilities, metrology, safety, and development teams
Equipment Exposure May Include
  • Headspace analyzers
  • Optical and particle counting microscopes
  • Automatic filling systems
  • Filtration and mixing tanks
  • Balances and general analytical equipment
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related technical field
  • Hands on laboratory experience in academic or industry settings
  • Experience designing and executing experiments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting laboratory setup or new lab builds
  • Equipment installation and qualification activities
  • Familiarity with container closure integrity studies
  • Experience with extractables and leachables
  • Exposure to device drug interface or fill finish operations
  • Experience working within cross functional development teams
