American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure for a 13-week contract position in California.

• Mammography unit within an outpatient health center setting
• Performs routine and specialized breast imaging procedures
• 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Saturday
• Variable start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with shifts ending between 3:00 PM and 6:30 PM

• Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• CA CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license required
• CA license required if applicable
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

• Performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers
• Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner
• Responsible for patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
• May orient other staff to the department as needed
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Previous employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the assignment
