The Web Developer will play a vital role in building and maintaining the digital platforms of Baszucki Group and Metabolic Mind. This position focuses on the technical development, integration, and rigorous testing of websites to ensure they are performant, secure, and fully functional. The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack development skills with experience in managing hosting environments and collaborating on cross-functional projects.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused, with responsibilities that include coding and updating website features, managing backend integrations, performing rigorous testing, and collaborating with designers and project managers. The Web Developer is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Senior Manager of Experience & Web Operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain website integrations with third-party services, APIs, and data sources.
- Manage and maintain cloud or on-premise hosting environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Implement and utilize version control, particularly Git, for collaborative and organized code management.
- Design, implement, and manage database schemas using SQL to support web application functionality.
- Collaborate closely with designers to translate visual mockups and UX concepts into functional web experiences.
- Work effectively with project managers and other stakeholders to estimate tasks, plan sprints, and deliver projects on time.
- Ensure websites meet accessibility and usability standards, while maintaining strong performance and load speed.
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in web development and engineering.
- Experience integrating and working with RESTful APIs and modern web services.
- Strong proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
- Experience with SQL and database management systems.
- Proven experience collaborating with internal teams, including designers and project managers, to deliver digital products.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to rigorous testing and quality assurance.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Salesforce is a plus.

This position is based in our San Mateo office. Candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and are expected to work in the office at least two days per week.
Baszucki Group provides a generous total compensation package that includes a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Baszucki Group is committed to fostering equity and inclusion and providing opportunities for learning, training, and professional development. The salary range for this role is $110,000 – $140,000. The actual compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
