Guidewire is offering a 6-month Guidewire Basecamp internship program to join the Business Technology team.

Job Description

What will I be doing as an intern?

* Interns will work on active Dev Sec Ops /Infra projects and not made-up intern projects.

* Interns will work as part of scrum team in a 2-week sprint model

* Interns will have the chance to collaborate and work with Dev Sec Ops /Infra engineers as part of their team, so this will be like a real-time work opportunity for them.

* Automation on AWS Platform from service now, jenkins,AWS Infrastructure etc

* Slack integration, Slack Apps and Slack streamlining

* Tools provisioning and automation using AWS framework

* Other ad-hoc tasks related to our Dev Sec Ops /Infra team's needs

Intern Requirements:

* Degree Preferred - Pursuing 3rd year/final year or completed BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or Software Engineering

* Basic AWS/AI (basic knowledge of LLM) Infra knowledge

* Scripting language experience like Python/Go framework

* Zest to learn and ramp up on new technologies

* Ability to rapidly absorb new technologies and have the desire to work in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to work well independently or with other people in a team-oriented environment

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Team player

* Demonstrated problem solving skills.

* Have Agile, systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and a sense of ownership and drive

* Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $52,000 - $78,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan.

In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
