Job Description & How to Apply Below

At Kiteworks we believe that our most critical advantage is the speed and quality of our innovation. We are committed to building a world-class Engineering and Product organization, and that means equipping our builders with the most advanced tools on the planet. We are investing in a dedicated team to harness the power of AI to supercharge our internal development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and beyond.

This is your opportunity to build the products that build our products.

We are looking for a visionary and deeply technical Senior Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of our internal AI-powered tool suite. You will be the product leader for a set of tools that will fundamentally change how our engineers and product managers work. Your customers are your colleagues — the brilliant minds building our core products—and your mission is to make them faster, smarter, and more effective.

You will identify the biggest friction points in our development lifecycle and design, build, and launch AI solutions to solve them. This could range from an AI-powered code completion and review assistant to a system that automates product spec creation or a model that predicts release risks.

What You'll Do
  • Become the Voice of the Product and Engineering Teams:
Conduct deep discovery with our Engineering and Product teams. Shadow their workflows, analyze their pain points, and identify the highest-impact opportunities for AI intervention.
  • Define the Vision & Strategy:
Develop and champion a compelling product vision and a multi-quarter roadmap for our internal AI platform. Articulate the "why" behind your strategy to engineering partners and executive leadership.
  • Drive Product Execution from Concept to Launch:
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle. Write clear and concise product requirement documents (PRDs), define user stories, manage the product backlog, and work hand-in-hand with a dedicated engineering team to build and ship high-quality AI tools.
  • Master the AI Landscape:
Stay on the cutting edge of AI and machine learning technologies, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications in the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Evaluate third-party tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Tabnine) vs. building bespoke solutions.
  • Measure What Matters:
Define and analyze metrics to measure the adoption, impact, and success of your tools. You won't just ship features; you'll prove that your products are saving time, reducing bugs, and accelerating our roadmap.
  • Champion Adoption: A product is only successful if it's used. You will work with internal developer advocates and team leads to drive the adoption and effective use of your AI tools, creating a powerful feedback loop for continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
  • A Builder for Builders:
You have a deep empathy for the challenges faced by software engineers and product managers. You've likely worked in a highly technical environment and understand the nuances of the modern development process.
  • Technically Fluent:
You have a strong technical background, ideally with a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. You are comfortable discussing APIs, model fine-tuning, system architecture, and the trade-offs of different AI approaches with senior engineers.
  • AI-Passionate:
You are genuinely excited about the potential of generative AI and LLMs to revolutionize how software is built. You follow the latest trends and can translate abstract AI capabilities into concrete product ideas.
  • Data-Driven Strategist:
You excel at blending qualitative user feedback with quantitative data to make informed product decisions. You know how to define a KPI and measure your way to success.
  • Exceptional Communicator:
You can craft a compelling narrative for your product vision and communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences, from a junior engineer to the CTO.
  • Proven Product Leader:
You have 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping successful technical products. Experience with developer tools, platform products, or AI/ML products is a significant plus.
