Pay Rate: $35/hr + DOE
Location: Foster City, CA / at least 4 days in office

About the Role

We are seeking a Client Services Engineer to support employee-facing technology and ensure seamless technical operations across the organization. In this role, you will partner with internal teams to troubleshoot issues, implement technical solutions, and continuously improve the employee technology experience. This engagement is expected to last 6 months with the possibility of extension.

What you will be doing:

• Provide technical support for end-user technology services through platforms such as Service Now and Slack.
• Research, install, implement, and upgrade internal systems and SaaS platforms.
• Support office technology including conference room systems, printers, digital signage, and related equipment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on client-side projects that improve security, operational efficiency, and user experience.
• Create and maintain documentation for internal processes and user-facing technical support articles.

About You

You are a proactive and solutions-oriented IT professional who enjoys supporting employees and improving the technology experience across an organization. You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users, and bring strong problem-solving skills to technical challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in an IT Support, Systems Administration, or similar technical support role.
• Experience supporting Windows 10, Ubuntu, Chrome OS, and macOS in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with VMware and client-side virtualization software such as Parallels or Virtual Box.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Google Workspace environments.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including VPN, DHCP, and DNS.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint security practices and user-level security best practices.
• Experience using ticketing and documentation tools such as Service Now, Jira, or Confluence.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory account administration.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Single Sign-On solutions such as Azure, Okta, or Ping.
• Working knowledge of endpoint management tools such as ECM/Intune, Jamf, or Landscape.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of scripting experience using tools such as Power Shell, Bash, or Python.
