Senior Data Analyst, Marketing Analytics
Full‑time position located in San Mateo, CA, hybrid with on‑site 3x/week (Tuesday‑Thursday).
Key Responsibilities- Visualize the future: design, build, and maintain high‑performance dashboards in Tableau or Power BI that serve as the single source of truth for Marketing and Sales performance.
- Salesforce insights: leverage Salesforce data to audit dashboards and deep‑dip into customer journey and closed/won opportunities.
- Strategic planning: act as a key contributor to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process, providing historical data and predictive modeling to set realistic yet ambitious targets.
- Cross‑functional collaboration: partner with IT, Marketing Operations, and Sales/Marketing to ensure data integrity and understand the reasons behind the numbers.
- The narrative: translate complex datasets into polished, persuasive slide decks for executive reviews and provide recommendations.
- Full‑stack analysis: perform end‑to‑end analysis—from pulling data to building complex ROI models in Google Sheets or Excel to measure campaign and channel effectiveness.
- 4‑6 years of experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role within Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, or a similar growth‑focused environment.
- Direct experience navigating and extracting data from Salesforce is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or a similar visualization suite; ability to leverage AI.
- SQL proficiency strongly preferred for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Databricks is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
- Expertise in Google Sheets or Excel, capable of building dynamic models that calculate ROI, CAC, and LTV.
- Executive presence: strong communication skills to present to Senior Leadership and simplify complex analyses.
- Attention to detail: ability to detect data discrepancies before others.
The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 USD, plus target bonus based on performance. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, flexible spending, commuter benefits, wellness benefits, adoption, and parental leave benefits.
