Our client, a worldleader in life sciences, is looking for Senior Specialist, Laboratory IT& Systems Support in Foster City, CA.
Job Duration:
Long Term Contract(Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $76/hr on W2
Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave, 401K
We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Laboratory IT & Systems Support to support laboratory computing environments, scientific instruments, laboratory software, and IT infrastructure within a regulated biotech/pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage laboratory computers, instrument-connected workstations, deployments,upgrades, and retirement.
- Support laboratory instrument software, vendor applications, and connectivity
. - Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and laboratory technology issues.
- Coordinate network connections, security patching, and compliance activities.
- Maintain CMDB records and laboratory technology inventories
. - Partner with IT, LIS, Digital & Data, Facilities, Quality, and instrument vendors.
- Support laboratory expansions, relocations, renovations, and startup activities.
- Develop technical documentation, support procedures, and operational standards.
- Leador support laboratory IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor'sdegree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
. - 5+years of experience supporting laboratory IT, laboratory systems, or scientific instrumentation.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or regulated laboratory environments
. - Experience working with instrument vendors and enterprise IT teams.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, and stakeholder management skills.
