Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seekingan Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Currentlicensureasa Registered Nurseinthestateinwhichhe /she practices
• Documentationandconfirmationofoneyearofoperatingroomclinicalexperienceinan acute care hospital withinthelastthreeyearspreferred
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate(if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

As an OR RN, you will:

• Coordinate, deliver, assess, and evaluate nursing care in an acute surgical environment.
• Provide direct patient care and education for patients and families.
• Support safe transitions of care.
• Deliver individualized, holistic care that considers psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration between patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• 4x10-hour shifts
• Various start times
• Weekends required
• Example shift:
  06:45 – 15:45
• Start: ASAP
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Active CA RN License
• BLS – American Heart Association
• ACLS
• 2+ years recent OR experience
  , including:
  • Orthopedics
  • Vascular
  • Robotic Surgery
• Scrub experience – REQUIRED
• CNOR – Preferred
• All certifications must be hands-on
