Physical Therapist

Plans, prepares, and implements individually designed physical treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning. Alleviates pain or prevents physical dysfunction in patients. Completes and documents patient evaluations and tests per established standards and regulatory requirements. Develops and updates the patient's Plan of Care based on data, identified problems, and diagnosis from the exam. Assesses and provides/progresses treatment for patients per plan of care following established standards.

Completes all documentation related to charge capture according to established standards. Coordinates patient care effectively and efficiently with other care providers and support team members. Works flexible shift assignments, including days of the week and hours. Provides clinical supervision to assistants and/or aides. Serves as clinical instructor for assigned students. Participates in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary projects. Inspects and uses equipment per manufacturer's guidelines, recording data and reporting malfunctions per policy.
