Validation Technician

Comrise is looking for a Validation Technician to drive rework validations, labor time development, and service procedure validations for a leading autonomous mobility company. In this role, you will partner closely with the Lead Validation Technician to execute rework activities identified by engineering. You will evaluate, validate, and time-study service procedures to ensure the operations team can execute them safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the lead technician in rework validations, procedure validation, and time studies for mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Develop detailed service instructions and work closely with the documentation team to create service bulletins and rework documentation.
  • Represent the Base Operations team in RRB forums and provide updates on ongoing validation activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve rework processes and documentation workflows in collaboration with Quality teams.
  • Ensure all rework procedures are fully ready and validated before they are launched to the repair teams.
  • Partner with the tooling team to support various validation activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician who can translate complex validation learnings into clear, actionable procedures. You should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while following the direction of a lead technician.

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in validation and testing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Technology or a related technical field.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts.
  • Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools, test equipment, and issue-tracking software like Jira.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technicians and engineers.
Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of autonomous mobility. You will play a critical role in ensuring vehicles are maintainable and that service teams are equipped with the best possible procedures to keep the fleet running safely.
