Pathobiology Specialist/Research Associate III based in Foster City, CA.
Job Duration:
Long Term Contract(Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate : $57/hr on W2

We are seeking a Senior Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in immunohistochemistry (IHC),histology, and tissue-based assay development to support drug discovery andpreclinical research programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop,optimize, and validate IHC and CISH assays and antibody reagents.
- Perform and troubleshoot IHC/histology assays using human and animal tissues.
- Develop tissue-based endpoints to support drug discovery, target identification, and validation
. - Planand independently execute experiments, analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and provide scientific recommendations.
- Identify and implement improvements to IHC/histology workflows, technologies,and throughput
. - Collaborate with internal research teams, CROs, and external partners.
- Present scientific findings and recommendations to cross-functional and senior leadership teams.
- BSor MS with relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with IHC, histology, tissue handling, andassay/method development
. - Experience with antibody optimization/validation and assay troubleshooting
. - Demonstrated experience supporting drug discovery, preclinical research, or target validation
. - Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CISH, multiplex IHC, oncology, fibrosis, inflammation, or virology
. - Pharmaceutical,biotechnology, CRO, or translational research experience.
