Educational Sales Consultant, Inside Sales – Team Lead

IXL Learning is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Team Lead to join our sales leadership team. The role involves leading and inspiring an inside sales team to meet sales goals, developing strategic sales approaches in the K-12 education market, and mentoring team members to support the company's growth and expanding product offerings including Rosetta Stone.

• Provide leadership to a team of inside sales consultants to achieve organizational growth targets.
• Develop a deep understanding of IXL’s products to pitch our value to K-12 customers.
• Mentor, guide, and coach the team throughout the sales process and share collaborative ideas and strategies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and self‑evaluation.
• Track, forecast, budget, and monitor the sales pipeline.
• Consistently meet team sales goals.

• BA/BS degree in Education or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sales and team management.
• Experience managing a team; sales management experience is a plus.
• Background in EdTech sales.
• Complete understanding of the K-12 education market.
• Direct classroom experience preferred.
• Familiarity with web-based technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-pace environment.
• Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Energy and creativity to achieve sales goals.
• Passion for bringing technology into the classroom.

Base salary: $90,000 – $100,000. Commission eligibility and benefits are provided.
