Senior Software Engineer - Backend

We’re looking for software engineers who want to build the future of engineering operations with us. You will spend a significant portion of your time writing code, building core systems, and solving our most complex technical challenges.

• Build and maintain data infrastructure that ingests and transforms engineering data at scale
• Design and implement backend services/APIs balancing speed, flexibility, security, and scalability
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to design data products and platform features

• Baseline Requirements
• 5–8+ years with ownership of critical components or services

• Strong proficiency in Type Script + Node.js and/or Python
• Experience designing/consuming REST/Graph

• Experience with building & product ionizing web services, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, orchestration frameworks
• Strong database fundamentals (SQL/No
  
  SQL)
• CI/CD familiarity (Git Hub Actions, Circle
  
  CI, etc.)
• Experience running production workloads including monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, traces, oncall
• Security fundamentals

• Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP (certifications are a plus)

• Comfortable working with distributed international teams
• English C1: able to participate in technical calls and write clear communication.

• Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience.

• Experience with building & integrating with SaaS platforms
• Experience with engineering analytics or developer-productivity tooling
• Experience with IaC, containers, serverless, queues/event-driven architectures
• Experience with security practices (auth

• Familiarity with engineering metrics (DORA, code quality, delivery metrics)
• Hands-on experience using coding agents (AI-assisted development)

Our team meets in-person several days a week in San Mateo, CA.

Compensation Range: $200K - $230K
