Autonomy Engineer Intern, Computer Vision, Deep Learning

• Architect and implement computer vision algorithms running on Skydio-powered drones
• Assume direct ownership of a project that advances the team and products
• Enable research and development of intelligent systems with advanced autonomous capabilities
• Research, prototype, and assess the feasibility of new approaches
• Imagine and implement new features for users
• Characterize and quantify performance of core software and hardware components
• Collaborate with core software development team members and computer vision/deep learning researchers

• High proficiency in C++ and/or Python and Py Torch
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for one or more of: computer vision, deep learning, motion planning, dynamics and controls, 3D graphics, distributed systems, and tools/infrastructure
• Solid software engineering foundation
• Commitment to writing clean, well-architected code
• Strong foundation in math and theory
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, small team environment
