The City of San Pablo is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Engineering Services Manager to lead the Engineering Division within the Public Works Department. Under general direction of the Public Works Director, the Engineering Services Manager plans, organizes, manages, and directs the programs, personnel, projects, and operations of the Engineering Division while serving as the City's designated City Engineer.

The successful candidate will be an experienced municipal engineering professional with strong leadership, project management, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to manage complex engineering programs and multiple concurrent capital projects.

The ideal candidate is an experienced municipal engineering professional with strong leadership, project management, communication, and organizational skills. The position is responsible for:
- Managing the City's Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
- Directing Engineering Division operations and supervising professional and technical staff.
- Overseeing engineering design, development review, construction management, transportation, traffic, and
- Managing consultants, contractors, professional services agreements, and construction contracts.
- Preparing and administering operating and capital budgets.
- Advising City leadership on engineering, infrastructure, development, and regulatory matters.
- Reviewing and approving engineering plans, specifications, permits, reports, and technical documents.
