Senior Tax Manager

Based in San Rafael, CA, we are a full service CPA firm offering solutions for small and mid-market businesses, owners, and individual tax clients.

Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join our team! Must have 10+ years of Public Accounting and experience preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses.

Active CPA License is required.

This position offers a hybrid schedule.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop and implement tax preparation for Individuals and Businesses.
  • Work with clients on strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure accurate reporting of debits and credits.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance on accounting matters related to tax preparation.

    • Must Have Skills:

  • 10+ years of Public Accounting experience
  • Experience reviewing and preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses
  • Experience coaching and supervising other tax professionals
  • Active CPA License
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
