PositionAssociate Director, Business Process Manager – Distribution, Supply and Network Planning

Reports To: Forecast to Deliver Global Process Owner (FTD GPO)
The successful candidate has experience in business organization handling Distribution Planning, Supply Planning and Network Planning functions, preferably in life sciences, and has transitioned to a transformation/Center of Excellence (COE) organization, leading high‑impact global initiatives by standardizing and optimizing cross‑functional business processes using enterprise data. The candidate works independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, manages multiple priorities, and is a strong collaborator with excellent written and oral communication skills, working with global and regional Commercial & Clinical Operations and Global Supply Chain teams.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic owner and operational steward of end‑to‑end business processes for Distribution Planning (DRP), Supply Planning (SP) and Network Planning (NP) within the Forecast to Deliver value chain.
- Ensure DRP, SP and NP processes are standardized, optimized, and aligned with organizational goals across regional sites and internationally.
- Lead development and documentation of business requirements, acceptance criteria and process design, ensuring integration with upstream and downstream areas (e.g., Inventory Planning).
- Confirm proper integration of processes across other work streams (e.g., Plan to Deliver, Source to Pay, Order to Cash) to drive fully integrated business processes.
- Act as point of contact for business users, helping develop and implement processes that simplify and standardize practices in line with SAP‑first and fit‑to‑standard design philosophies.
- Liaise with regional and global Subject Matter Experts to capture and align business requirements with changing needs.
- Identify Organization Change Management (OCM) impact areas and coordinate with the OCM team.
- Co‑lead design sprints to articulate business needs.
- Perform impact analysis and sign off on solution approaches to address identified gaps.
- Prepare business cases for gap resolution and provide options for fast decision‑making by global process owners and COE advisory board.
- Report and manage issues, risks, and scope questions within the assigned process area.
- Understand functions and features of SAP S/4 and IBP ERP modules and how they are leveraged to orchestrate business processes in the Forecast to Deliver process.
- Participate in build and testing sprints to validate that system configuration and builds satisfy business requirement acceptance criteria.
- Champion change for the COE functionally and cross‑functionally and help drive business process adoption.
- Build partnerships and collaborate with global, functional, and regional teams on operational and planning initiatives.
- Minimum (10+) / Desired (15+) years of experience in Distribution Requirements Planning, Supply Planning and Network Planning in both Commercial and Clinical contexts.
