Dominican University of California is seeking an experienced individual to serve as course instructor for graduate-level occupational therapy courses. Course instruction will be dictated by the course that is taught. Adjunct faculty work part-time with cohorts of up to 32 students.

Position Summary
Dominican is seeking an experienced individual to serve as course instructor for graduate-level occupational therapy courses. Course instruction will be dictated by the course that is taught.
Responsibilities
- Teach (course at Graduate level)
- Evaluate and grade student work and provide feedback to students
- Mentor and advise students on the progress of their projects and coursework
- Uphold academic performance standards and integrity
- Perform other course related duties as assigned
- Positions possible in the following domains: fundamentals of OT, physical rehabilitation, psychosocial, pediatrics, program development, education, and leadership and management.
Required Qualifications
- Master's (minimum) or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy or related degree
- One year of higher education experience or equivalent teaching research
- Proficient or able to learn in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Moodle (online classroom management tool) & Zoom
- Must have recent work experience related to the course content domain
Preferred Qualifications
- More than one year of higher education teaching experience
- Prior experience teaching Occupational Therapy

Adjunct Compensation
Adjunct Faculty members are employed in a professional capacity at the University. For courses, including service-learning courses and laboratories, the University compensates Adjunct Faculty Members on a per-unit basis for Course-Related Work.
