We have various teaching positions available across multiple locations, including:

  • Associate Teacher: $26.11 - $30.62
  • Associate Teacher Float: $26.11 - $30.62

All Positions Require Permit through CTC currently.

About CAM's Child Family Services:

As a Head Start Program, we provide year-round early childhood education serving children aged 0 through pre-kindergarten. As a teacher at CAM, you'll be part of a dynamic team engaged in a continuous cycle of observing, guiding, learning, and assessing children's progress. You'll create a joyful and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities include but aren't limited to):

  • Supervise children and maintain a safe environment.
  • Nurture children's curiosity and spirit with joy and respect.
  • Facilitate age-appropriate, play-based curriculum and activities.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with children, staff, and parents.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Support the teaching team to maintain proper ratios and structure.
  • Ensure the health and safety of each child, following emergency procedures.

  • Qualifications (by Title):

    • Education:

      Must have a minimum of 24 units of Early Childhood Education and meet the eligibility requirements for a Child Development Teacher Permit through the CTC. Preferred: AA/BA in ECE (including 24 units ECE/CD including core courses + 16 GE units).
    • Permit:
      Must have a current Child Development Teacher Permit from the CTC
    • Preferred:
      Experience working with children with special needs
