Priority Listing Early Childhood Aftercare Teacher

Marin Waldorf School is seeking a warm, dependable, and collaborative Early Childhood Aftercare Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Our Aftercare program extends the rhythm and care of the school day, offering children a warm and nurturing environment for rest, play, creativity, and connection. We are looking for someone who loves working with young children, enjoys being part of a collaborative school community, and can create a calm and engaging afternoon experience.

Training or experience in Waldorf education is preferred. Early Childhood Education (ECE) units are required, though candidates may be in the process of completing them.

• Prepare and lead age-appropriate activities and snack
• Provide attentive supervision and maintain a warm, safe environment
• Track attendance carefully and submit daily attendance records to the Front Office
• Reset and care for the Aftercare classroom(s) at the end of each day
• Communicate positively and effectively with families
• Share occasional program updates for school communications
• Collaborate with Early Childhood teachers and school colleagues

• Brings warmth, presence, and a genuine love of young children
• Has strong classroom management skills
• Communicates clearly and positively with families
• Works collaboratively and supportively with colleagues
• Values an educational environment centered on relationship, creativity, rhythm, and play
