As the Windows Systems Engineer, you will contribute directly to building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers large‑scale business operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- System Design & Deployment: Architect, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments across both physical and virtual infrastructures.
- Virtualization Management: Support and optimize virtual systems leveraging Hyper‑V and VMware to enhance scalability and performance.
- Cloud Engineering: Manage Microsoft Azure services including VMs, networking, and storage.
- Active Directory & Security: Administer Azure Active Directory (Entra ), manage authentication policies, and oversee MFA, SSO, and related security frameworks.
- Automation & Scripting: Build Power Shell scripts to streamline system processes, deployments, and configuration management.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Conduct proactive monitoring, patching, and performance tuning to maintain system reliability and compliance.
- Backup & Recovery: Oversee daily backups and data recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
- Project Leadership: Lead upgrade and migration initiatives, collaborating across teams to drive successful implementations.
- Documentation & Support: Provide tier‑3 support, develop technical documentation, and contribute to building internal knowledge.
This role is ideal for a proactive, technically strong engineer who brings deep expertise in Microsoft systems and enterprise‑level infrastructure.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a computer‑related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Windows systems engineering or administration.
- Strong background with:
- Windows Server 2012–2022
- Power Shell automation
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure architecture, security, and compliance requirements.
- Microsoft certifications in Azure, Office 365, or System Center are preferred.
- Valid state driver’s license and TWIC required.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.

Compensation: $55-70/hr
