Senior Consultant, Acoustics & Vibration
We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Acoustics & Vibration Consulting Practice and play a key role in the continued growth and leadership of our firm.
Since 2005, we have completed more than 700 projects across a wide range of building acoustics, noise control, and vibration mitigation disciplines. Our team is recognized for delivering practical, technically sound solutions that help clients solve complex acoustic and vibration challenges.
This role is ideal for an accomplished acoustics professional who combines strong technical expertise with exceptional communication and client relationship skills. The successful candidate will contribute to project delivery, mentor junior staff, support business development efforts, and help shape the future direction of the practice.
Key Responsibilities- Lead acoustics and vibration consulting projects from proposal through delivery
- Perform acoustic and vibration analysis, modeling, testing, and field measurements
- Prepare clear, accurate, and professional technical reports
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support business development initiatives and cultivate repeat business opportunities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective solutions
- 10+ years of acoustics consulting experience preferred
- Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Architecture, Physics, or a related discipline
- Strong technical expertise in acoustic and vibration analysis, modeling, and testing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Proven success mentoring and developing team members
- Strong client management and business development capabilities
- Proficiency with industry-standard acoustic modeling and analytical tools
- Strong professional references
