We are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join our client in the Bay Area. As a Senior Accountant, you play a pivotal role in managing a company's financial records, budgets, and statements. Your expertise ensures accurate, complete, and compliant financial reporting. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $130,000 per year.

Job Description:

Prepare financial statements and regulatory documents.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
Analyze finances to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
Collaborate with auditing services to ensure regulatory compliance.
Develop budgets and financial plans based on research and data reports.
Respond to information requests from management and for auditing reviews.
Document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.

Requirements:

Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Must be well-organized and detail oriented.
Advanced skill level in Excel and proficiency with other MS Office products.
Works well with diverse personalities in a decentralized environment.
Deep understanding of and ability to articulate the role of equity, inclusion, and diversity in our work.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in general accounting.
2+ years of audit experience.
