Welcome to Marin Community Clinics!
Founded in 1972, we are a multi-clinic network providing primary care, dental, behavioral health, specialty, and referral services to nearly 40,000 people in Marin County each year. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care for all.
Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to provide updates to every applicant. While opportunities are limited, we do our best to match applicants to different areas of our clinics.

Interns/Externs/Volunteers/Contract Providers perform assigned tasks directly by the Clinic or Medical Directors.
- Fulfill immunization and fit for duty regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to provide proof of required immunizations.
- Might be asked to pass a background check if volunteer opportunity includes direct patient contact and/or access to Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Bilingual English-Spanish desired, but not required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English written and verbally.
- Previous experience working in a health-care organization a plus, but not required.
- Must be sensitive to a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environment.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedules depending on the volunteer assignment.
- Ability to travel to different MCC clinics as necessary.
- Experience using Microsoft Office:
Word & Excel highly preferred for computer related volunteer opportunities.
