ABOUT US:
Syufy Enterprises is a fast-growing, financially strong Marin-based entertainment and leisure company that owns a variety of businesses, including high-end athletic clubs and spas, restaurants, golf venues, shopping centers, public markets and drive-in theaters. Over the next several years, the company will be rapidly expanding all its brands and looking to invest in new brands.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Regional Manager, Facilities is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining consistent facilities operations, maintenance standards, and asset preservation practices across a growing multi-state portfolio of multifamily communities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, solutions-oriented facilities professional with strong technical knowledge, multifamily maintenance experience, and the ability to influence, coach, and develop teams without direct supervisory authority. As SyRES continues to expand, this position will play a key role in establishing scalable maintenance programs, standard operating procedures, training resources, and performance measures that support consistency across existing properties, new acquisitions, property transitions, and new developments.

* Partner with Community Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, and maintenance teams to ensure service requests are prioritized, completed timely, and meet established quality standards.
* Develop consistent apartment turn procedures, including move-out inspections, scope development, vendor coordination, quality inspections, and turn-time expectations.
* Conduct regular property visits to evaluate physical conditions, maintenance practices, equipment operations, cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company standards.
* Identify recurring maintenance issues and recommend solutions that reduce repeat service requests, unnecessary expenses, and resident disruption.
** Preventative Maintenance & Building Systems*
* * Develop and oversee a comprehensive preventative maintenance program across all communities, including standardized schedules, procedures, and completion tracking.
* Establish and maintain building equipment inventories, service histories, maintenance documentation, and replacement recommendations.
* Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire/life-safety, and other building systems.
* Monitor preventative maintenance completion and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and useful life.
* Evaluate aging infrastructure, recurring repairs, and equipment performance to recommend proactive repairs, replacements, or capital improvements.
* Support warranty administration and tracking of building systems, equipment, and construction-related deficiencies.
** Maintenance Team Development & Technical Leadership*
* * Serve as a technical resource, mentor, and coach to onsite Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Technicians across the portfolio.
* Partner with Regional and Community Managers to assess maintenance team capabilities, performance, staffing needs, and development opportunities.
