Operating Room Registered Nurse

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with peri-operative expertise to provide specialized care in the operating room setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independence across multiple surgical service lines, ensuring high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and postoperative nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient operative procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of peri-operative protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes during surgery.
• Uphold sterile techniques and infection control procedures.
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Peri-Op 101 Certification; CNOR certification preferred.
• Hold current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently in Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Spine, Eyes, and Plastics service lines.
• Show proven experience in an operating room environment.
• Maintain excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
