As we prepare to join this prestigious portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive Sales Coordinator to support our commercial team during this transformational period.

Position Overview

The Sales Coordinator serves as the operational backbone of the Sales & Marketing department. This role is responsible for supporting the sales leadership team through administrative excellence, lead management, and seamless group coordination. As the hotel transitions into the Tribute Portfolio, the Sales Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients and partners experience a smooth, professional, and brand-aligned journey from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Support & Group Coordination
    • Manage the administrative lifecycle of group bookings, including room block creation, picking up rooming lists, and final billing.
    • Coordinate site inspections, client presentations, and property tours for corporate and social planners.
    • Prepare and distribute professional proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs) with speed and accuracy.
  • Brand Transition & Operational Excellence
    • Maintain and update sales systems (such as Marriott’s CI/TY) to ensure data integrity and brand compliance.
    • Assist in the rollout of new Tribute Portfolio marketing materials and collateral.
    • Act as a key liaison between the Sales office and other departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B) to ensure group requirements are met flawlessly.
  • Guest & Client Relations
    • Champion a warm and personalized approach to client communication, reflective of the Tribute Portfolio ethos.
    • Respond to sales inquiries and leads with urgency, professionalism, and empathy.
    • Assist in resolving billing discrepancies or client concerns with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Communication & Collaboration
    • Work closely with the Director of Sales and Revenue Management to monitor inventory and maximize revenue opportunities.
    • Participate in sales strategy meetings and contribute creative ideas for local market engagement.
    • Support the coordination of special events, rebranding launches, and community partnership initiatives.
Education and Experience
  • GED or high school diploma; 1 year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • Preferred:
  • Sales experience in limited or full-service property.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
  • Property industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
