Finance Operations Assistant (Part-Time)
Onsite | San Ramon, CA. 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Up to $23.50/hour, can go up to $30/hour once permanent. Temp-to-Hire Opportunity.

We're looking for a motivated, organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build or expand their accounting experience for a client in San Ramon.
What You'll DoIn this role, you'll support both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions while gaining exposure to a wide range of accounting activities.
Financial Operations Support- Assist with day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy across financial records
- Maintain organized documentation and support general ledger processes
- Prepare and distribute invoices to customers
- Apply incoming payments and reconcile discrepancies
- Track outstanding balances and support collections efforts
- Maintain accurate customer account records
- Assist with credit memos and payment matching
- Process vendor invoices and verify approvals
- Perform invoice matching and ensure proper documentation
- Coordinate payment processing (checks, cards, etc.)
- Communicate with vendors to resolve issues or discrepancies
- Support expense tracking and reimbursements
- Working knowledge of core accounting concepts (e.g., debits, credits, general ledger)
- Experience using accounting software such as Quick Books or similar systems
- Familiarity with invoicing, billing, collections, and vendor payments
- Understanding of financial reporting basics and compliance standards is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Clear and professional communication abilities
- Resourceful problem‑solver with a proactive mindset
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
